Kraft Foods is going to continue studying the development of the activities in the international after the announcement of the plan of redemption of pole cookies of Danone, declared on Tuesday CEO of the American food group in an interview.
The French group Danone announced Tuesday that Kraft proposed to repurchase its biscuits for 5,3 billion euro in cash and that the final agreement could be signed in the last quarter of 2007.
Rosenfeld added during interview that the activity, which includes in particular the marks LU and Tuc, "would be adapted very well with the wallet of Kraft and would help it to accelerate its development".

The group seeks to start again its growth, and if it has to this end worked much on the internal development, Kraft could also consider others acquisitions.
"We would continue to seek opportunities which are obvious from strategic point of view, which is gravitational from financial point of view and which creates value for the shareholders, and I already known as clearly that accordingly, our priority will go to the international markets", Rosenfeld continued.
After the acquisition of biscuits Danone, the share of international in the total turnover of Kraft will pass to 40%, against 33% currently. "We would continue to seek advisabilities to still increase more this pourcentage", the chairman of Kraft added. During a teleconference, Rosenfeld specified that even after the operation with Danone, its group will present a very healthy financial "situation allowing him to acced to opportunities will judge adequate".
